So... for those of you who know me for my Sherlock Holmes and Star Trek stuff... surprise? XD

About:
Sergei is a second generation American who realized very quickly that his home in Washington D.C. was the perfect place for him. Sergei grew up with an unnatural love of Dubstep and Hip Hop, and was attached to his iPod like an extension of himself. When he met his Digimon, Paumon, that metaphor became a reality.

Despite being from a traditional and calm family, Sergei went to one of the rougher High Schools in DC and grew close to their "Ghetto Fabulous" community. "Thug Life" became his theme, and before his parents could even protest, Sergei was wearing baggy pants and glowering all the time. He was readily accepted by his fellow High School posers who thought they were all Ghetto together, but had one point of contention: His Digimon.

When they first met, it was by Paumon stowing away in Sergei's dufflebag and eating all his food. Sergei found the little puff ball eating his favorite candy bar and attempted to use all his skills to scare him off. Paumon was unimpressed to say the least. He immediately called Sergei out on being so fake, but was quite happy to analyze his new friend in return. What Paumon saw in Sergei was a potential Sergei himself wasn't aware of.

Sergei took Paumon home, and the little cat just never left, becoming as much a part of his life as any of his daily essentials. Paumon fit into his schedule snugly and held similar hours, eating habits and priorities. Everything seemed to work out... except one thing...

Paumon is... not very manly. It was a problem for Sergei, who was very concerned with appearing butch and manly in front of all his "Thug Life" friends. Paumon is an adorable little fluff ball with a feather on its head. It digivolves into a kitty cat with feathers for a tail.
Sergei was mortified.
It took a few years to acclimate to being serious and thugnificent while toting around a little blue purse-pet, but Sergei managed, and eventually came into his own as the unholy love-child of Hipsters and Ghetto Fabulous.

Sergei loves Guitar Hero, tacos, Dubstep, Bicycle Riding, and DJing in his spare time. Sergei likes to remix music, but hasn't found a personal style yet.

Sergei has a personal vendetta against busses after almost getting hit one too many times while biking in the metro DC area, he dislikes sour flavors, plain T-shirts, skinny pants on men, people who don't customize their ringtones, bad Dubstep and Metal (the music).

Once he was accepted into the Sol, he moved to Japan and now lives in the dorms, working at a patisserie near by as a cashier, though they let him frost cupcakes sometimes. He'll never admit to this job though, as it's unmanly.

Personality:

Sergei is gruff in attitude, but a bit of a pushover if it really comes down to it. He tries to make everyone happy when he can, but has a bad track record of getting discouraged before he makes a difference. He enjoys humor more than anything, but seldom really puts himself out there to make the friends he wants to have.

Sergei likes to maintain an image and takes great pride in things he CAN do well, so he comes off as a little aloof and vain, but he's actually a decent guy. Honest.

Digimon Partner:

A vain little thing, he and Sergei hit it off immediately, despite Sergei's initial disappointment that he wasn't a giant dinosaur digimon. Pavomon is very friendly and will most often ruin Sergei's hard-won brooding image by cheerfully sharing some sort of secret about his partner. He is mischievous and he helps Sergei get out of his shell a bit even if only by inadvertently getting them involved in some form of shenanigans. Pavomon's one weakness (the same weakness as Sergei, arguably) is his ego. Pavo does NOT like to be humiliated or dishonored, and will often try to go very far out of his way to wreak vengeance if anyone tries. When Sergei was embarrassed by him in High School, Pavo attempted to be as dangerous looking and menacing as he could to support Sergei's image. Sergei saw the strain being put on his little buddy and quickly owned up to their odd dynamic.
